Introduction of Serial to Ethernet Converter

USR-TCP232-410s is a RS232 / RS485 to Ethernet server for remote access serial electronic devices. By connecting USR-TCP232-410s to serial based equipment, user can easily offer Ethernet networking capability as a standard feature. So equipment can be accessed and controlled over the Internet network. USR-TCP232-410s is a dual serial server, which supports rs232 & rs485 working at the same time. It adopts Cortex-M4 solution and its basic frequency is up to 120MHz. 

 

USR-TCP232-410s serial to Ethernet converters / Adapters is easy to use. It is based on ARM processor and internally integrated with TCP/IP protocol, integrate an embedded web server, 10/100Mbps TX Ethernet port. USR Serial device server can be configured by using a standard web browser, or USR setup software. This high performance networking serial to TCPIP server enables engineers spend little time to add networking function to products.

 

This RS232 RS485 to Ethernet converter have 16 KByte receive/sending buffer of network and 2 KByte receive/sending buffer of serial, which makes the communication more stable and safe. For hardware protection, the serial device server has 2KV ESD protction and lightning protection for RS-485 port, 2KV ESD protction and surge protection for RS-232 port. CE(EMC+LVD), FCC, RoHS, KCC and WEEE compliant.

Working Modes of Serial to Ethernet Converter

Serial Device Server USR-TCP232-410s can work as TCP Client, TCP Server, UDP Client and UDP Server Mode.

1) In TCP Client Mode: Client connects Server automatically. User should configure the TCP Server’s IP address and Port.

2) In TCP Server Mode: The Max Client number is 8.

3) In UDP Client Mode: serial data will be sent to a fix IP address/port which you appointed.

4) In UDP Server Mode: serial data will be sent to last source IP/Port.
